~ JOURNEYMAN UPGRADE CLASS SCHEDULE ~

We just ran an OSHA 10 and will continue to run as many as necessary, the only requirement is participation, we need at least 15 members to conduct a class. 

 

We have designated six dates for CPR/First Aid training, which require at least 10 participants each: 

Nov 27, 2018           Jan 21, 2019                  Feb 18, 2019

Nov 28, 2018  (Full)        Jan 23, 2019                 Feb 20, 2019

This is a 3 hour course and will be conducted in the evening from 5-8 pm.

 

After the first of the year we plan to conduct another Aerial Lift certification class, but the date has not yet been determined.

Weld certifications are always available, PT certs will be available in January. For information and enrollment in any of these classes,

SAFETY TRAINING

UN BONDED POST TENSIONING  -  Home Study Reference & Workbook, plus 16 hrs classroom & Post Tension Institute Exam

                    JOURNEYMAN - MUST HAVE 2000 Hrs in last 5yrs

                                                                    or 4000 Hrs (lifetime)  MUST BE                                                                                  VERIFIED THROUGH AN AFFIDAVIT

 

OSHA 10 Hour  (Must have a minimum of 40 participants to schedule)

Required to complete this class every 3 yrs.  If your OSHA 10 is older than 2013 you NEED this training.

OSHA SUB PART R - STEEL ERECTION 3 Hrs  (40 participants to schedule)

 

JOURNEYMAN  CRANE SIGNALING & RIGGING - SELF STUDY Must have workbooks completed and turned in to take 8 hr class & Exam 

(IF you completed your Apprenticeship you do not need this)

 

~ MINIMUM CLASS SIZE FOR SCHEDULING ~

LIMITED SEATING FOR ALL CLASSES    

JOURNEYMAN UPGRADE and SAFETY TRAINING

 

The Q R Reader on the membership cards will show you all your certifications.

 

 

 

OSHA 30

This qualification can be obtained online at various websites

(OSHA.gov, OSHA.com) for $ 169.00.

After completing the course present your receipt and certificate

 (and a copy of your card) to the

union hall for a full reimbursement plus $ 100.00 for your time.
